The NBPA is an association of biogas construction companies operating in Nepal. SNV is providing overall organisational strengthening support to implement and oversee the effective construction of biogas plants in Nepal. We are involved with the effective promotion of biogas technologies, slurry promotion and training of members.

Centre for Renewable Technology (CRT)

As well as providing advisory services in institutional development and assisting in the promotion and marketing of Improved Water Mill (IWM) systems, SNV is also actively providing technical expertise in micro-finance and exploring possible avenues in carbon financing for Nepal through our work with CRT.

Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC)

AEPC is a government departmental agency that SNV is currently assisting in creating a comprehensive renewable energy strategy to be implemented at both the national and district levels in Nepal.

Renewable Energy Technology Promotion Centre (RETPC)

The RETPC is an umbrella organisation of private companies involved in the renewable energy sector. Their primary function is to actively promote renewable energy technologies that are locally appropriate for the diverse landscapes of Nepal. SNV provides advisory services for improved organisational capacity to RETPC in terms of business management, human resources and effective market linkages. Additionally, we provide technical expertise in the field of renewable energy technologies and/or provide linkages to appropriate expertise and research. |
