International Advisory Board - Nathalie Cely Suárez
Nathalie Cely Suárez graduated from Ecuador’s Catholic University of Guayaquil in 1990, and later obtained a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She has since carried out international-level research work on partnerships, innovation and local development, strategy and competitiveness for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). From March 2007 to April 2009, she served as Ecuador’s Coordinating Minister of Social Development. During this time she was responsible for developing a socio-economic inclusion policy, integrating training, technical assistance and microcredit and guaranteeing rights for the most vulnerable. She joined the SNV delegation at the Tällberg Forum in Sweden in June 2008. Nathalie now serves as Ecuador’s Coordinating Minister of Production, Competitiveness and Commercialisation.
