Mrs. Marianne Meijboom, Adviser in Non-Timber Forest Products and Acting Forest Products Sector Leader. Thimphu Portfolio.  Provides technical assistance to  the Department of Forests in the development of NTFP sub-sector.  Joined SNV Bhutan in July 2006.

More than 10 years working experience in NTFP development, Community Based Natural Resource Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Protected Area Management and Forest Land Use Planning & Forest Land Allocation. Previously employed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) in Vietnam.

Agricultural University Wageningen, Msc in Natural Resource Management in the Tropics.
