
Gabrielle Halcrow joined SNV in 2010 and is currently the Sector Leader / Senior Advisor for SNVs Bhutan’s Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Programme based with the Ministry of Health.
Gabrielle has over 12 years international development experience working with WASH, community development and public health programs with local and state governments and INGOs. This has included more than six years living and working with remote communities in South Asia, the Pacific and Indigenous Australia. In her roles she has managed programmes and remote teams, provided technical assistance, conducted participatory evaluations, field research, surveys and trained government and NGO field teams in participatory approaches to WASH, gender, hygiene promotion and water quality monitoring. Her technical qualifications are in environmental health (BSc), with a Masters of International Health and further post qualifications in Water and Environmental Management, WEDC and Sustainable Development Policy, Murdoch University.
