
Mahamadou Badiel is a Rural Development Expert. For more than 10 years, he has been working with various organizations and gained strong experience in rural development. He demonstrated a strong ability in linking producer's organization's with private/public sectors. He developed and implemented a farm management tool with agricultural organisations' that permitted famers' to attain crops sustainability and increase their yearly income. He managed and monitored micro projects, executed by producers organizations and measured their effectiveness as part of a large program funded by DANIDA in the agriculture sector in Burkina Faso. He managed a multi actor approach for accessing and controlling natural resources in a peaceful use as part of ICCO/SNV Mali and Burkina in cross border dynamic. He also managed a team constitued by 7 rural advisers with Sissilis' Provincial Producers' Organization. As a focal point of land use he conducted a research action study on land grabbing in SNV WCA countries'. In addition Mr. Badiel implemented value chain development in Cotton, Shea nut, Sesame and livestock. He earned an engineer degree on rural development with agricultural optional. He is very fluent in French, moderate in English and basic in German.
