Track Record

Pro-Poor Sustainable Tourism:

• 2006-2011: Mekong Discovery Trail project with UNWTO and The Ministry of Tourism. Development of Kratie and Stung Treng provinces as tourist destinations, creating jobs and income for low-income households.
  
  

Agriculture:

• 2009 onwards: Vegetables Value Chain programme in South-East Cambodia. Improving cultivation techniques, market access and leadership, creating jobs and cash income for small farmers.
  
  

Renewable Energy:

• 2005 onwards: National Biodigester programme. Over 15,000 rural households in 14 provinces have gained access to a clean and convenient source of energy for cooking and lighting.
  
  

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene:

• 2010-2011: Sustainable sanitation & Hygiene for All Programme, phase I. Around 5000 people and the pupils of 8 schools gained access to sanitation facilities and are using these hygienically.
