Local Capacity Builders

For strengthening the capacity of our clients to achieve results, SNV Cambodia works to an increasing extent together with Cambodian organisations and individuals. Some examples:

CIEDC

The Cambodian Indian Entrepreneurship Development Centre (CIEDC) grows Biodigester Construction Companies. CIEDC’s services are designed and customised so that masons come to understand the biodigester construction market environment, and prepare themselves to enter the market with biodigester construction and after sale services. After company establishment, CIEDC staff makes regular coaching visits.

Sombo YIN

Sombo has a vast experience in marketing and business development. His main responsibility with SNV is to support the privatisation of the rural biogas entrepreneurs of the National Biodigester Programme.

Vikdara NOUN

Dara has a good experience in business development, marketing, administration and finance. Dara advises on entrepreneurship development and sanitation marketing in several SNV programmes. He holds an MBA from the Asian Institute of Technology.

Ayphalla TE

Ayphalla has worked in business, communication and marketing. For SNV she takes a leading role in advising on the behaviour change communication strategy in sanitation and hygiene, targeting rural households and schools. She has a MSc in Public Policy and Management from Australia, a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Project Management and a BBA from Cambodia.

NYEMO

As an NGO, NYEMO aims at facilitating the establishment of small scale reintegration programmes for vulnerable people. With SNV they work on developing vocational training and education for poor (future) entrepreneurs in tourism within the HITT programme.

SRPTC

The Svay Rieng Provincial Training Centre provides marketing expertise to Farmer Associations in the South-West of Cambodia.

CFAP

The Cambodian Farmer Association Federation of Agricultural Producers works with SNV on strengthening farmer groups in terms of leadership, access to markets and improved technologies.
