Our Work

SNV has been present in the Kingdom of Cambodia since 2005 when the National Biodigester Programme commenced and now operates in eight Southeast provinces. The Pro- Poor Sustainable Tourism Programme started in early 2006 and concentrates on Northeast Cambodia. With increasing impacts of our interventions, we expand our activities in two more areas: Smallholder Cash Crops and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in 2009.

By working hand-in-hand with local actors, SNV Cambodia aims to:

  •  increase production, employment and equitable income opportunities for the poor via our work in Pro-poor Sustainable Tourism; Smallholder Cash Crops;
  • improve the access, coverage and quality of basic services via our work in Biogas and Renewable Energy; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
