WORKSHOP LCDF (Local Capacity Development Facility): INTRODUCTION AND REFLECTION ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MECHANISM FOR BROKER SA "LCDF" KINSHASA, 16 and 17 June 2010
Participated the representatives of National and International NGOs, UN institutions, the Ministries of Planning through the SENAREC (Sécretariat National au Renforcement des Capacités), the Ministry of Agriculture, the private sector.
The first day was devoted to presentations of the concept and various initiatives in the field of capacity building with strong themes are:
• Presentation of the concept EBG in the fight against poverty and achieving the Millennium Development Goals;
• Partnership and CARG
• Experience in building capacities of farmers' organizations by CRAFOP;
• Need for training of farmers and administrators of the ADEI / NGDOs;
• Presentation of the database on civil society in eastern DRC, MONUC
• Summary on the Study of Institutions AGESFO on building capacity in the provinces of Bas Congo, Equateur and Kinshasa;
• Presentation of PRONAREC and PAP-REC
The second day began with the presentation on "Who Moved My Cheese" a tool for managing change and then there was the distribution of participants in working groups. Four groups were formed with the group which I was thinking about the services offerings Capacity Building; Group II: Applications for Capacity Building, Group III: Sources of Funds and Corporate and Group IV: Outline of Operating Mechanism of EBG.
After a half-day committee work the different groups presented the results of their work followed the recommendations and discussion in plenary.
