Partnership for Impact. To increase the effectiveness of our programmes and resources, we actively engage in partnerships with other development organisations as well as private and public sector organisations.

Partners

SNV values partnerships as a mean to increase and broaden the effectiveness of its work. We view all potentiel partners equally; government, international NGOs, civil society or private sector. We build strong relationships with those we think will be the most effective in alleviating poverty and promoting good governance.

SNV seeks to substantially diversify its partnerships and resources to leverage its expertise for increased impact. SNV partners comprise governments, NGOs and the private sector. We engage local capacity builders as partners when we share a broader objective, for example, in developing certain approaches or products or when there is a shared desire to achieve impact and improved governance. To address the challenges of achieving the Millennium Development Goals it is essential that key actors in the provision of services and policy collaborate closely and maximize on their different strengths and possibilities for influence. SNV therefore plays a major role in catalysing cross-sectorial and high-potential complementary alliances.
