Working from source to beyond the tap, SNV promotes analysis, design and implementation of integrated approaches that combine sustainable and efficient water services delivery mechanisms. Partners include regional water services boards and water resources management authorities, sub-catchment area water resource users associations, and water service providers in all secondary town and rural areas.
SNV seeks to develop socially responsive commercialisation of water service provision, institutionalise water point mapping and improve functionality of water points in rural areas. Interventions are in line with on-going reforms in the Water Act 2002. The focus is on:
