Capacity Development Services for Maputo Municipal Council

On March 10th 2010, the President of the Maputo Municipal Council, Mr. David Simango and SNV Mozambique Country Director, Quirin Laumans and signed a two year cooperation agreement on Sustainable Pro-poor Tourism Development. This agreement was based on the recommendations that resulted from a prior Maputo Tourism Value Chain Analysis conducted by SNV in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipal Council. SNV will provide advisory services to the council on sustainable pro poor tourism development.
