SNV’s work in the Renewable Energy sector in Mozambique is still in its early stages. We currently have one programme on improved cooking solutions for the urban poor. The programme aims to reduce cooking costs for urban households and use sustainable renewable biomass. SNV focuses on Base of the Pyramid marketing strategies, Improved Cook Stoves sector development and Charcoal Value Chain Development.
