Kristie brings to SNV Nepal experience in private sector development, gender mainstreaming, community development, government capacity building, corporate social responsibility and the promotion of female entrepreneurship. Kristie spent the past 4 years working for the Australian Government’s overseas aid program (AusAID) on economic governance, gender equality, private sector development and female entrepreneurship in south Pacific Island countries. Kristie also lived in the Kingdom of Tonga and worked on a community development project for village women and the promotion of good governance. She has also monitored and evaluated Hewlett Packard’s corporate social responsibility programme for enterprise promotion in China, and was a  sales and marketing representative for Cadbury Ice Cream.

Kristie has a Masters degree in applied anthropology and participatory development with a gender specialisation.
