Throughout Nepal, SNV aims to secure sustainable, locally owned and relevant impacts that will lead to lasting poverty reduction and contribute to achieving the MDGs. By working hand-in-hand with local actors, SNV Nepal works to realise impact in two areas:
• Improve the access, coverage and quality of basic services via our work in Renewable Energy and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
• Increase production, income and employment opportunities for the poor via our work in Smallholder Cash Crops, Pro-Poor Sustainable Tourism and Forest Products.
Governance is at the heart of our work and cuts across all that we do. Good governance principles like participation, transparency and accountability, guide our work. Read more
