Working across Nepal

When SNV started working in Nepal in 1980, our operations were mainly focused in the Karnali Zone (Far-Western Nepal) which comprises the five districts of Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla and Dolpa.  With our successful interventions in the region - and the subsequent trust we built up with local and national actors - our working areas have expanded.  Currently we work in 37 districts in Nepal through our country office in Kathmandu, the Eastern Portfolio Office in Dharan, and the Programme Office in Surkhet.  We are proud to be working in diverse areas in Nepal, from the remote hilly mountain provinces to the lower plains, in order to reach the most disadvantaged and marginalised people.
