In order to maximize our contribution to poverty impact and improved governance as well as enhanced access to basic services, SNV remains responsive to demand, while being strategically selective and proactive in engaging with clients. In South Sudan, SNV engages with clients based on criteria including:
- their potential contribution to impact on poverty and governance
- their (strategic) linkages to broader poverty reduction strategies
- their potential and willingness for change and ownership
- their commitment as expressed, among other ways, through their contribution (in kind, financial or otherwise)
- SNV’s own ability to add value to their interventions
