Within the context of the Millennium Development Goals and the evolving aid architecture in South Sudan, SNV contributes to sustainable and equitable production, income and employment opportunities for the poor, and the delivery of basic services. More specifically, SNV in South Sudan works in the education, water, sanitation and hygiene, livestock and non-timber forest products sectors.

We believe that through a combination of market based solutions and development, we can achieve sustainable poverty reduction. We therefore work in partnership with government departments at all levels of Government of South Sudan and development NGOs, as well as private sector companies.
