SNV wins new Project: Vietnam Forests and Deltas Programme

SNV together with Winrock International, the American Red Cross and SRD, successfully won the tender for the US$26.5 million USAID supported Vietnam Forests and Deltas (VFD) Programme.

The primary purpose of this programme is to accelerate Vietnam’s transition to climate resilient, low emissions development through investments in reducing net emissions from forests, and enhancing resiliency of people, places, and livelihoods in the delta regions to short and long-term climate impacts. The programme will primarily invest in provincial and district level demonstration and capacity building, and share lessons learned to inform national policies and implementation.

VFD will be implemented as part of SNV REDD+ Programme.
