SNV Zambia’s programme, known as 1-2-3-4-5, is geared to bridging the macro-micro divide and to achievement of sustainability through ownership of the development process by local players, combined with their truly committed involvement. The overall objective of the programme is to work together with strategic partners to deliver comprehensive integrated packages of services to groups of clients through defined delivery channels toward targeted and tangible impact. We do this through strengthening the enabling environment in which local development targets are prioritised, strengthening the horizontal and vertical linkages. Our specific products are provided in two main impact areas:

Specific products include: strategic/business planning, financial management, resource mobilisation, gender analysis, leadership for change, multi-stakeholder processes, budget tracking, value chain analysis, market linkages facilitation, business development services. SNV provides advisory services through both technical and change experts who work in geographically based teams while pooling expertise from the one team when required.
