SNV Zimbabwe’s focus is on primary education. Our role in the education includes facilitating processes that will enable access to education, especially for girls and OVCs, quality education and strengthening delivery efficiency and effectiveness. This also covers facilitating the provision of safe water and sanitation in schools. Whilst the focus in the education sector is on the primary education sub-sector, SNV’s work will extend to vocational/skills training sub-sector in order to creating synergy with economic development sector.
SNV Zimbabwe has developed strategic partnerships with international and local organisations. SNV is part of the Zimbabwe education working group that includes UNICEF, UNESCO, FAO GOZ, UNDP and local NGOs.
