SNV Mozambique carried out a workshop with a view to provide the review of curriculum and training materials developed within the scope of «Moçambique Hospitaleiro – (hospitable Mozambique)» programme, a programme carried out in partnership with COREP, Tropigalia, CMM , CMI, MITUR and funded by the European Union.

The workshop aimed to analyse the main findings and lessons learned with a view to adjust the current curriculum, teacher’s manual and handbook as well as the student’s book.

SNV is collaborating with the Mozambique Media Group SOICO, the National SME Promotion Institute (IPEME), BDO accountants, and leading commercial bank BMI to identify the 100 best small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Mozambique.

The Best SME, the Most Innovative SME and the Most Inclusive SME will receive awards - with the award from Most Inclusive SME to be sponsored by SNV with the support of Ford Foundation. The award will include a study visit to Latin America, support for the development of a business plan and finance brokering for the winning enterprise.
