In 2009 SNV together with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture initiated the idea of including “the child” in this project through a customised curriculum which allows pupils to leave school not only with numeracy and literacy but also vocational skills. The aim was to foster good banana growing practises to pupils and help these pupils acquire basic conservation and business marketing skills.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Mr Frank De Giovanni, (Director for Financial Assets), and Paulo Nimpuno-Parente, (Program Officer Economic Opportunity and Assets) were representing the Foundation. This was the second time Paulo was visiting the country programmes.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
