Organisation

SNV has been active in Africa for over 40 years. Our main sectors of activities are: Agriculture, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene,  and Renewable Energy. We work together with other development organisations who, like SNV, support local organisations in their fight against poverty.

SNV works in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Our advisors come from a variety of technical and cultural backgrounds. About 355 advisors work across the 17 African countries we operate in, with 70 per cent being nationals.
