Connecting people’s capacities

Despite positive developments, sub-Saharan Africa will not meet the MDGs by the target year of 2015. To ensure tangible impact in poverty alleviation, SNV in the East and Southern Africa region offers capacity development services in the following sectors: Education, Water and Sanitation, Renewable Energy with a focus on Biogas, Livestock, Oil seeds, Horticulture, Non-timber Forest Products and Pro-poor Tourism. Governance, which includes gender, HIV/Aids, peace building and sustainability, are central to our work.
