SNV focuses on Water and Sanitation in Primary Schools, Operation and Maintenance of Water and Sanitation Facilities, and Sustainable Water Resource Base.

Clients
Clients are mainly governments and government affiliated organisations such as ministries, water service providers; water resources user associations, water resource management authorities, Catchment Area Advisory Committees and Municipalities.
Partners
Embassies of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in ESA focus works with SNV on water sector development in 6 out of 8 countries in the region. Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan and Zambia have agreements with UNICEF within the Sub-Saharan Africa Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Agreemeng between UNICEF and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
