To achieve high impact in improving opportunities and quality of life for low-income populations, and drawing on SNV´s established experience and track record, we focus our work on Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).  These sectors are crucial for generating employment, improving access to basic services and meeting fundamental needs—such as clean drinking water and adequate food.  With our emphasis on Renewable Energy, we help communities gain access to energy sources for their household and business needs while doing so in a way that is sustainable and helps protect the environment.
