By the end of 2007 some 260 professional SNV advisers were active in the Western and Central Africa region. They are working 31 portfolio teams divided over nine countries.

Of this group of advisers 69% are ‘nationals’, working in their home country and 31% are international staff. 30% of all advisers are women and 70% men. All advisers are fully committed to work on capacity development.
