Organisation

Our Headquarters is in The Hague, the Netherlands.

We also have a partnership office in Washington DC. Staff here work to establish partnerships with other multi-lateral organisations, corporations, foundations, universities, social investors and others to increase the impact of our work.

Our leadership

SNV is led by a Managing Board, made up of our Chief Executive, the Managing Director for Finance & Human Resource Management and our managing directors for Agriculture, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and Renewable Energy.

Our work in each of the regions is led by a regional director, who, together with the Managing Board and the head of strategy, make up the Extended Board. This Board meets three times a year and is the chief executive's most senior advisory body on strategic issues. SNV is supervised by the Supervisory Board.

Our International Advisory Board helps expand the scale, impact and visibility of our work.

Our team

SNV’s advisors are leading experts in their fields, with in-depth understanding of the local contexts in which we work. Our advisors in the field come from a variety of cultural and technical backgrounds, and over 80 per cent are nationals of the countries where we operate. We currently employ over 1,000 professionals in close to 100 offices around the world.
