SNV has worked closely with the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) on a number of programmes around the world in an effort to promote sustainable development and eliminate world poverty. Specifically SNV has received grants from the Department on projects ranging from our Great Himalayan Trail Development Programme in Nepal, through to the scaling up of our innovative Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for All programme in Vietnam. As with all our work, our DFID-supported programmes focus on ensuring value for money by understanding what works and replicating successes at scale.
