Ronald de Jong joins SNV Supervisory Board

SNV is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Ronald de Jong to the SNV Supervisory Board. Currently the Chief Market Leader of Royal Philips Electronics and a member of the Philips Executive Committee, Mr. de Jong brings with him more than 20 years of international business experience at Philips, along with extensive experience in emerging markets.

Mr. de Jong said he was looking forward to the opportunity to contribute to SNV’s work improving the lives of people living in poverty.

“I am excited to join the Supervisory Board of SNV. I have strong admiration for the work of SNV around the world and am committed to contribute to continued success of the organisation.”

According to SNV Supervisory Board Chairman Arthur Arnold, Mr. de Jong’s appointment adds significantly to the SNV board’s rich mix of expertise in both private and public sector strategy, finance and governance.

Mr. de Jong will serve alongside Mr. Arnold, vice chairman Hans Huis in ‘t Veld, and board members Bernard ter Haar, Mirjam van Reisen, and Evelyn Vinke–Smits.
